Forerunner of what is now knows as the Hospital Corpsman rating.
Bluish black machine embroidered eagle with a red cross and bluish black chevrons machine sewn to a Khaki background Worn on Summer Khaki Marine Corps Uniform.
Used in 1917 – 1918 and shortly thereafter.
